Me: "Whaaaaat? That is really odd, don't you think? How X can mean a kiss..."
Mom: "But it always has been"
Me: "But why though?"
Mom: "Well what does O mean?"
Me: "X means kiss O means hug"
Mom: "Oh..."
Me: "But why though? It seems weird. How can an X resemble a kiss. Kisses are meant to mean something more sentimental. More meaningful"
Mom: "Because it does.... I dunno"
Me: "And an O means a hug?! Whaaaat? An O has nothing to do with hugs! Hugs are fluffy"
Mom: "And Xs are sharp"
Me: "Nooooo.... And anyway, kisses are sweet, not sharp! It may as well be a pair of lips on the end of a romantic letter.. You know, just to ruin it.. Or a K. That suits better. Makes a bit more sense"
Mom: ... ... ... ... ...
Me: "It's just silly. I like to think of kisses as something sweeter"
Mom: "You think too much"
